Safety routines
Arrival and pickup
A guide is at each hub's door from 8:15 a.m. and again at 2:30 p.m. Only the adults on a family's pickup list may collect a student, and we ask to see ID until we know you.
Visitors
Visitors ring at the door and sign in at the front table. A parent who volunteers signs in the same way.
Drills
We practice fire drills on a calendar the lead guides keep, and we walk through each hub's exits with the students every fall and spring.
Heat and weather
In a heat warning, movement and outdoor time move indoors or into the shade, with water on every table. Families hear about a closure by text.
Allergies
Tell us about allergies at the visit; we ask privately once you enroll. Each lead guide keeps the plans for the students in the room.
Illness
A student with a fever stays home until the next day, and a guide calls a parent when a student is unwell at the hub.
